Now live for all Reset Client Sites using Reset Access services
Recently, a service upgrade for Reset Access and Reset Access Mobile has seen the introduction of vehicle details recording for contractors logging in and driving a vehicle onto site.
Cardholders are requested to enter their vehicle registration details during the login process. This information is immediately checked and validated with the DVLA including the vehicle type and colour. These details are recalled when the contractor next logs in on site, the information on the last vehicle is automatically remembered so rather than having to enter the details in again they can click to confirm they are driving the same vehicle. If they have changed vehicles, they simply enter the information of the new vehicle.
A register of all the vehicles currently on the site, and the company and cardholder they belong to is accessible on Reset Access Admin, via the verifier dashboard and can help clients quickly identify a vehicle and its occupants if there is an issue or incident in just a few clicks.
Furthermore, this development can be integrated with third-party ANPR car parking providers via its API service. This is particularly useful on sites where parking fees for contractors are waived, as Reset can provide this information directly to the parking company removing the need for the detail to be entered elsewhere either by estate personnel or the contractor themselves.
More information on this and the other Reset developments will feature in the Spring 2024 issue of Connected, coming soon.
