Reset host the North-West Contractor Networking Event

23 December 2022

North-West Contractor Networking Event brings Reset’s calendar of events to a successful close for 2022.

The early start and rainy Manchester weather didn’t dampen proceedings as members, potential members, clients, and some of our benefit partners descended on the Copthorne Hotel, Manchester for Reset’s North-West Contractor Networking Event, the final one of 2022.

Things didn’t get off to the best start, when whilst travelling to the venue the day before, the Reset Team broke down.  Thankfully, Reset’s Benefit partner, the AA, came to the rescue.  Patrol technician Mark Blewitt arrived swiftly, identified the issue, and was able to carry out a roadside repair, getting the team back on the road quickly and safely.

After refreshments and a warm welcome from Reset’s Managing Director, Gary Duce, the morning began with attendees being introduced to Joe Moxom, Head of Partnerships at LearningNest who presented their eLearning solution, newly launched and now part of the Reset Membership Benefits Package.

The scheduled breakout sessions provided attendees with the opportunity to network with a few of the benefit partners from the AA, LearningNest, WorkNest, UK Fuels, and soon to be officially launched, Northgate.

The morning resumed with a presentation on Reset by Gary, offering a refresher for those already using Reset and an insight to Reset’s services for those considering joining. There was also an overview of the up-and-coming new developments for 2023 and bolt-on solutions such as the Site Induction module and Reset Access Staff which drew the event to a close.

Of the event, Gary Duce, said, “I would like to personally thank everyone who attended today’s event, from our clients, members, and their cardholders, to our partners and those interested in finding out what Reset has to offer.”

“A great amount of planning and preparation goes into delivering these events however the feedback we received both on the day and in the subsequent days demonstrates the true value for all attendees. I would urge anyone who hasn’t attended one of our events, to come along and see what they are all about.”

“Having already done events in South Yorkshire and Newcastle, Manchester is our final contractor event in the diary for 2022, and what a great event to end the year on. The team and I are looking forward to taking Reset back on the road in 2023.”
